A simple Stackelberg strategy, the non-compliant first NCF strategy, is introduced, which can be computed in polynomial time, and it is shown to be optimal for this new class of latency on parallel networks. We study the problem of learning similarity functions over very large corpora using neural network embedding models. We prove a bound on the rate of change of an energy function associated with the problem, then use it to derive estimates of convergence rates of the function values almost surely and in expectationboth for persistent and asymptotically vanishing noise.
We also develop an adaptive averaging heuristic that empirically speeds up the convergence, and in many cases performs significantly better than popular heuristics such as restarting.
